TASTY TUESDAY: Smoothie Bowls

Nothing says YUM like a homemade Smoothie Bowl! Get refueled and refreshed with these three delicious options. Açaí, Chocolate Peanut Butter and Berry Sorbet...the real questions is, how will you choose?!

AÇAÍ BOWL

Ingredients

2 frozen açaí packs, thawed
1 cup frozen mixed berries
2 tbsp peanut butter 
1 tbsp cacao nibs

1 tbsp maple syrup or agave nectar 

Directions

Soak the açaí packs in a cup or jar of water, then squeeze the packs to break up the açaí before cutting the packaging and placing açaí in blender or food processor. 
Add the rest of the ingredients and pulse or blend until smooth. 

Transfer mix to a bowl and top with fresh strawberries, banana slices, frozen blueberries, raw granola and a drizzle of agave or maple syrup.

CHOCOLATE PEANUT BUTTER BOWL

Ingredients

2-3 frozen bananas
2 tbsp cacao powder
2 tbsp peanut butter 
1 tbsp cacao nibs

1 tsp maca powder (optional)

Directions

In a high speed blender or a food processor blend the ingredients until smooth. 

Transfer mix to a bowl and top with fresh strawberries, raw granola and some cacao nibs. 

BERRY SORBET BOWL

Ingredients

2 cups frozen berries 
3/4 cup nondairy yogurt

1-2 tbsp maple syrup or agave nectar

Directions

In a high speed blender or a food processor blend the ingredients until smooth. Transfer mix to a freezer safe container and freeze for 30 minutes to an hour (or more). 

Serve with fresh berries and some shredded coconut.
