Here at Albion Fit we believe that ANY time is a great time to host an event or party. Having fun, eating food, and hanging out with amazing people… what’s not to love?
One of our favorite events is our Swim Soiree, where we introduce our new line of swimwear for the year. We look forward to this event every year because, not only do we love a good fashion show, we love connecting with our amazing Albion Fit community. Our community is the heart and soul of our company and we love getting the chance to spend time with you!
This year, our Swim Soiree was held at Living Planet Aquarium in Utah. The epic location was the perfect backdrop for our 2020 Swimwear launch. We mingled with our guests, munched on h’ors d’oeuvres, had beautiful flower arrangements by Clover and Stem, and had our best fashion show to date.

Before we wrap up this blog post, since we just had our event, and we know how much work planning an event can be, so we decided to share our top 5 tips for planning the perfect event or party.
We know, talking numbers doesn’t sound like a lot of fun, but nailing down your budget before you start planning will make things easier in the long run. We promise!
When planning an event, choosing a theme can make, what may seem like a never ending to-do list, so much easier to tackle! Having a theme can help you make decisions on décor, invitations, food, and, well, almost anything you have to plan.
Having the right location is essential to planning the perfect event or party. Before you start looking for your location, decide what you want from your event. Do you want it to have a more intimate feel? Do you need lots of space for a big group of people? Write down what is most important to you for you event and make sure your space coincides with your needs.
One of our favorite parts of any event is the food! We have found that fed guests are happy guests, so try to make sure there is some sort of food at your event.
If people are mingling, hors d’oeuvres were an easy way for people to eat and chat. If you are throwing a shower, or a more intimate gathering, buffets and sit down meals are great choices. Always let your guests know on the invite what kind of food will be served.
Your guests notice and appreciate even the smallest of details. Things like camera opps, themed games, goodie bags, programs, etc can really pull an event together.
