Arroyo Dress, Brown Gingham

I love the style of these dresses. I purchased the pink striped one back a few months ago and enjoyed it so much I got the brown gingham one too. I like that they are bump and nursing friendly!

However, the fabric for the brown gingham is a much lower quality than the pink striped. It’s thinner and wrinkles more easily.

I also don’t understand why these don’t have pockets?! Thankfully I know how to sew and added pockets myself but for this price I would expect more.

I’m a size 14/16, so I ordered an XL. The dress is very roomy everywhere, but too tight in the bust. It flattens my breasts. As someone with a proportionate, hour glass XL figure, this doesn’t work. It’s better for pear-shaped women. Other than that, it’s a beautiful, quality dress and I am in the process of losing weight, so perhaps it will fit better in a couple of weeks.
