We’re so excited to travel this year! With millions of options for destinations, it’s easy to get decision fatigue. Our suggestion? Book a trip to one of our all-time favorite cities: Wilmington, North Carolina.
Wilmington is known for the gorgeous Carolina Beach and stunning vintage boardwalk, but there are dozens of things to do and delicious foods to try in town as well. If you’re looking for a relaxing trip full of laid-back vibes, check out our top picks and tips for your visit to Wilmington, North Carolina.
Drift Coffee and Kitchen: Their bowls are to die for. We also loved the Salted Caramel Smoothie and the Earl Grey Cake. Perfect spot for an afternoon break.
Bespoke Coffee: Some of the best Matcha we’ve ever had. Hit them up in the morning for a great start to your day.
Deck House: With a fantastic atmosphere and equally awesome food, you can’t go wrong with a dinner date here. We loved the alfredo pasta and the garlic bread.
The Rooster and Crow: We’re obsessed with their fried green tomatoes (a Southern favorite!) as well as the “Spring Garden” drink which tastes great virgin or not.
Havana’s: You have to try the fish tacos and bananas foster. YUM!
Adapt: Our mouths are watering just thinking about their Italian Stallion Avocado Toast, and they have some of the best smoothies ever.
Britt’s Donut Shop: Hot, fresh donuts that we can’t get enough of—and we’re sure you’ll feel the same!
Greenfield Park: Rent a boat and reenact scenes from The Notebook in this gorgeous park.
Beach Day: With warm water and beautiful beach grass swaying in the coastal breeze, North Carolina’s beaches are some of the best in the world.
Carolina Beach Boardwalk: This vintage boardwalk is unique and gives off that nostalgic small-town feel. Check out all the shops, restaurants, and treats, then make your way to the beach and rest in one of the many swinging benches that overlook the ocean—the view is to die for at sunset!
Chandler’s Wharf: If you want to do some sightseeing or shopping, Chandler’s Wharf in Wilmington is the place to be. Several of our favorite movies and tv shows have been filmed there!
Carolina Beach Amusement Park: Perfect for the teens on your trip. We can’t wait for this place to open back up after 2020.
Ferry from Fort Fisher to Southport: Enjoy the water and explore a new town. The port is just a quick drive from Carolina Beach.
Kure Beach Fishing Pier: Rent some gear and cast a line on the Kure Beach Fishing Pier. You couldn’t ask for a more relaxing morning. If you’re not into fishing, you can check out the arcade and snag a treat.
We can’t wait to see your travel pics and hear about your own recommendations from Wilmington, NC! Don't forget to pack everyone's favorite Jetsetter pant! They're the perfect way to stay comfy and stylish while you travel
