TASTY TUESDAY: Turkey Cranberry and Brie Paninis

A week to be thankful and a week to eat a lot of yummy food! With Thanksgiving just a few days away, we decided to bring you the perfect recipe to make use of all of those leftovers you are bound to be left with Thursday night. Turkey, cranberry, and brie cheese are a match made in leftover heaven.

Turkey Cranberry and Brie Paninis

Prep Time 10 min                Bake Time 5 min
Yields 6-8 sandwiches

 

Ingredients:

One loaf crusty artisan bread

Dijon mustard

Leftover roasted turkey

Leftover cranberry sauce 

Thinly sliced brie cheese

Balsamic glaze

Fresh thyme leaves, optional

Extra virgin olive oil

Directions:

  1. Preheat panini maker. (See notes.)
  2. Slice bread. 
  3. Build sandwiches with desired amount of mustard, turkey, cranberry sauce and brie.
  4. Drizzle with balsamic glaze and sprinkle with thyme. 
  5. Brush outsides of bread with olive oil.
  6. Cook until cheese is melted and bread is cooked well.

Notes:

*If you don't have a panini maker, just toast this in a skillet as you would a grilled cheese sandwich.

*Be creative! Sub out your favorite cheese or even cream cheese.
