Easiest Tailgating Party Recipe: Bacon Wrapped Jalepeño Poppers

Football season is here, bringing with it tailgating parties, gathering with friends and family, and of course—great football food! We love a good game day but we'd be lying if we said we were only in it for the game. There's just not much better than the crisp fall air, friends and family gathering to cheer on their favorite teams, and everyone's favorite appetizers for football games!

 Two things are very important when it comes to the perfect tailgating recipes...

1. It must be easy to eat with one hand so you can cheer or hold your drink in the other

2. It must be delicious!

 These easy jalepeño poppers are just that—easy to eat and so delicious everyone will ask you for the recipe! Plus, they're easy to make the day of. So even if you find yourself in a time crunch, this recipe has got you covered. Get ready to make a big impression with this crowd pleaser!

 -Jalapenos

- Cream Cheese

- Brown Sugar

- Bacon

- Sweet Barbecue Sauce

- Tin Foil

- Toothpicks

- Baking Sheet

 

Preheat your oven to 400° F. On a cutting board, cut your jalapeños in half, length-wise. Use a spoon to dig out ALL of the seeds, then fill the centers with cream cheese.

 Next, cut the bacon in half and wrap it around the jalapeños, then secure with a toothpick. Place 1/2 cup of brown sugar into a bowl, then coat each jalapeño.

Place them all on a tin foil lined baking sheet and bake for 25 minutes. When they're done, remove the toothpicks and serve with a sweet barbecue sauce.
