Details. Something that’s very important to us around here. From where we make our suits (read more about that here), to the fabric we source, to the specific sizing and silhouettes of our suits, we are all about the details. If you look closely at our swims, you’ll notice intentional touches of design like our embroidered logo and hand-drawn prints, as well as unique style details like delicate ruching and added waistbands. All these factors make for sustainable, stylish swimwear you’ll wear for years, not months.
The details are not details. They make the design. - Charles Eames
We are always challenging ourselves to design and create completely original swim silhouettes that mix femininity, practicality, and beauty. Keeping in mind the feminine figure, we mindfully place every single one of our seams and hems. A few of our new favorite silhouette details from this year? Bustier-style busts, playing around with ruching placement, mesh overlays, and French-cut bottoms.
From hand-drawn florals to meticulously designed patterns, we take pride in adorning our suits in only the prettiest prints and palettes. Our inspiration for floral prints often come from real life bouquets and blooms we come across in everyday life! Our cofounder, Dave, is a talented designer and watercolor artist, and is the hand behind our most loved and adored prints. Here’s a few of our favorites.
One of our favorite parts of designing a suit is adding bits and pieces of personality and style that make the piece what it is. Whether that's a bow, a belt, smocking or ruffles, a zipper, the details are what speak to you when you’re searching for a suit. They are what make a swimsuit much, much more than just something you put on when going for a swim. They are confidence boosters and conversation starters. Plus, they’re just plain CUTE!
