Hailey Maxi Dress, Black Chambray

I just bought this for an upcoming beach vacation. I had been looking for dress I could use as both a cover up and for going out. Often a cover up is see through so it can't be used as a dress (for those of us who don't want to reveal everything). And it has POCKETS - thank you. It's snug in the chest but not too tight (I'm 32 C and took an XXS at 5'5" and 105). Material is not flimsy - has some weight to it the black chambray; the beige version is different fabric with rayon or modal in it and was too limp for my taste.

This dress is so lovely and a beautiful color. I ordered both a small and a medium. For reference I am 5'8, 150lbs and I am typically a size 6, 34D. The chest area is super tight on the small but fit beautifully everywhere else. The medium was too big overall. I am keeping the small and hoping it stretches out a bit in the chest area.

I love the material, the cut, the way it hangs. But I didn’t love the sleeves. They hung very awkwardly. I would have loved loved this dress with a traditional cap sleeve.

I love this dress!!! I originally had it in ivory and liked it so much I got this one as well. I love that Albion is exploring more of the natural materials.
