One of our favorite things at Albion Fit, opens in a new tab about summer is making s’mores around a fire. Whether you’re camping up the canyon or roasting marshmallows at home these tasty treats are the perfect summer dessert! You can easily assemble all of your favorite the s’mores ingredients on a charcuterie board for an easy DIY s’mores spread!

We love a traditional s’more, but here are a few of our favorite ways to mix things up!

Essential s’mores ingredients

Graham crackers—Try out honey, chocolate, or cinnamon varieties for a little extra flavor!

Marshmallows—Standard, mini, jumbo, or flavored; you can’t go wrong!

Chocolate—Go classic with a Hershey’s bar, or mix it up with your favorite chocolate!

Homemade chocolate chip cookies—It might sound crazy, but hear us out: a homemade chocolate chip cookie can transform your s’more into a decadent dessert! You’ll thank us later.

Spreads—Can’t get enough chocolate? Add some Nutella, Peanut Butter, or Cookie Butter to the mix! We like to spread it on the graham crackers before assembling the rest of the s’more.

Chocolates—Candy makes everything better! Substitute your Hershey bar for a Reese’s for a delicious peanut butter surprise or Rolo's for some caramel filled chocolate.

Ritz crackers—It may seem a bit out there, but Ritz crackers add a perfect salty flavor and crunch to s’mores! Use them instead of graham crackers, add them to the stack, or crush them up and sprinkle onto your melted chocolate!

Stroopwafel—These delicious Dutch waffle cookies pair perfectly with s’mores because the caramel inside is meant to be melted before eating. Warm these up on the fire and use them instead of graham crackers for an amazing international experience.

Fresh berries—Check out these gorgeous s’mores made with strawberries, blueberries and raspberries! Fresh fruit adds a perfect tartness to your sugar fest.
