With days spent at the beach or poolside, by the time evening comes around, you might be ready for popcorn and a movie (especially if you have littles around!). We’ve pulled together a list of our top 10 favorite family-friendly summer movies to give you a headstart.

The Sandlot — Ok, who doesn’t love this classic? With the best one-liners of any summer show, you and your kids will be saying “You’re killin me smalls!” the rest of the summer.

The Parent Trap — With two options to choose from (did Disney do that on purpose?), both versions of the Parent Trap could be a hit with your family.

The Lego Movie — Because everything is awesome this summer!

Moana — All right, this flick might make you antsy to take a trip to Hawaii, but you can’t go wrong with this powerful story.

The Little Rascals — You and your kids will be laughing your socks off at the antics of these crazy kids.

Lilo and Stitch — With the King of Rock and Roll as the star of the soundtrack, aliens and Hawaii have never looked better.

A Goofy Movie — Let’s face it, we all sang these songs at the top of our lungs growing up, and it’s still just as funny as adults.

The Princess Bride — Adventure, romance, drama, comedy... The Princess Bride is a true classic! This movie is perfect for the whole family, and one that is always a crowd favorite.

Gnomeo and Juliet — A hilarious, kid-friendly version of Shakespeare’s most famous tragedy. You’ll be surprised at how much you love this one.

Star Wars — We’re huge fans of the original trilogy, but what summer movie list is complete without Star Wars?
