Spring has officially arrived, bringing with it all the motivation for a fresh start. We love getting into our yearly Spring cleaning, and setting up the season with a deep cleanse from top to bottom. One of our favorite ways to add a finishing touch to the yearly Spring cleaning routine is with our all natural, toxin free furniture spray. This DIY cleaning product is a breeze to make and will leave your hard to clean surfaces, and even the air in your home, feeling fresh!
With pets, kids, and who knows what else running around our homes, having a quick and easy way to clean fabric furniture is a must! This all natural, DIY febreeze is an effective natural cleaning product that you will love having on hand and is so easy to make. With only a few ingredients, your home and furniture will be feeling oh so fresh and clean!
Supplies Needed:
1 cup Distilled Water
1 TBSP Baking Soda
1 cup Witch Hazel
40 drops of your favorite essential oils (we recommend using lemon, tea tree, and lavender for their cleansing properties)
Amber Glass Spray Bottle
Directions:
In a glass measuring cup, heat up the distilled water until just below the boiling point. Add in the baking soda and stir until completely dissolved. Pour the water/baking soda into the amber glass spray bottle. Add in the witch hazel and essential oils, then secure the lid and shake vigorously.
Spray any fabric surface to refresh and cleanse, then allow to dry. Or use it as an air freshener!
