4th of July Treats

Summer is in full swing—and what better excuse to whip up something sweet and slip into your favorite sunny styles? We’re sharing two festive (and easy!) recipes that are perfect for any backyard BBQ or poolside hangout: Strawberry Ice Cream Cones and Angel Food Cupcakes. Scroll on for a little treat inspiration…and a few outfit ideas that are ready for sunshine, sparklers, and everything in between!

Ninja CREAMi - Strawberry Ice Cream 

Ingredients: 

Ice Cream:

• 8 oz. fresh strawberries (diced) 

• ½ cup granulated sugar 

• 1 cup heavy whipping cream

• 1 tsp. lemon juice

• 1 tsp. vanilla extract

• Pinch of salt 

Sugar Cones: 

• Package of ice cream cones 

• White chocolate melts 

Instructions: 

Ice Cream:

• Add diced strawberries and sugar to Creami Pint. Mash together and let sit for 20 minutes, stir occasionally.

• Stir in remaining ingredients

• Freeze for 24 hours 

• Assemble in Ninja Creami—use Ice Cream setting. For creamier texture, add milk or heavy cream. 

• Add any mix-ins you want! Graham crackers, gummy bears, cheesecake, chocolate chips, etc. 

Sugar Cone: 

• Melt one bag of white chocolate melts 

• Dip cones into white chocolate and then into sprinkles. Let sit until hardened. 

4th of July Angel Food Cupcakes 

Ingredients: 

• Angel Food Cake mix (we used Betty Crocker, but you can also make homemade if that’s your style!) 

• 1 cup water

• 1 container Cool Whip

• 1 container Marshmallow Fluff

Instructions: 

• Follow instruction on cake mix box

• Scoop mixture into cupcake tin and bake 

• For frosting, mix 1 container of Cool Whip with 1 container of Marshmallow Fluff

• Pipe frosting onto cooled cupcakes

• Add sprinkles and fresh fruit!
