Alternately thread a strawberry and a glazed donut hole (or mini donuts) onto each skewer. Voila!
No game day is complete without some sort of mini sandwich, and here’s our favorite version! Ooey-gooey cheese and ham, toasted buns, and a special sauce make this a tailgate go-to. This time-saving, oven-baked, easy gameday recipe makes 12 sandwiches in one go. Now that’s a winner.
Ingredients:
1 pack (12 buns) savory Hawaiian rolls
12 slices black forest ham
6 slices Swiss or Havarti cheese (your choice!)
Sauce:
3 tbsp salted butter
1 tsp dijon mustard
1 tbsp poppy seeds
Directions:
Slice entire pack of rolls, without separating indivudal buns. Place bottom half in a 9x12 lightly greased pan.
Place one folded slice of ham and half a slice of cheese on each roll.
In a microwavable bowl, cover butter and heat 30 seconds or until melted. Stir in Dijon mustard and poppy seeds.
Add the top layer of rolls and brush with butter poppy seed mixture.
Cover with foil and bake at 350 for about 15 minutes. Remove foil and bake 5 more minutes until cheese is melted and buns are toasted golden brown.
Tear and serve.
Celebrate your team’s win with personal pumpkin pies! This is the perfect easy game-day dessert, especially for fall. Depending on your plans, bake your own pumpkin pie or stick with store-bought! Plus, you can use the leftover pie to make Pumpkin Pie Cake Pops.
Ingredients:
pumpkin pie
canned whipped cream
pumpkin pie spice or cinnamon
tall circle cookie cutter
Directions:
First, make sure your pie is very cold (not frozen, though)! This will help make clean-cut circles. Use cookie cutter to cut out pie circles
Top with whipped cream
Sprinkle pumpkin pie spice or cinnamon on top and serve!
