Whether you like running outside, solo dance parties, or yoga, physical activity is a great way to take care of your body and mind. (To be honest, doing a little bit exercise everyday is keeping us sane!)
Bad days (heck, even weeks) happen. To beat those moments, write down the things you’re grateful for. Look over the list often to help put a smile back on your face.
Make sure you are fueling your body with foods that are GOOD for you. Nutrient rich foods, that feel you up are exactly what your body needs. With that being said… it’s totally ok to indulge every once in awhile. Treat yo self!
You can’t help others, or even yourself, if you aren’t getting enough Z’s. Make it a priority to get the sleep you need every night.
Turn off your phone! (Or at least put it in airplane mode) Taking time away from technology can help you focus on yourself and what YOU NEED to be at your best.
How many of you struggle with saying no? You’re not alone! Remember, it’s ok to not do it all. It’s ok to say no so you can take care of yourself.
Often times, we are harder on ourselves than we are to anyone else. Remember to talk to yourself like you would an old friend. You’re not perfect, nobody is, so give yourself some credit. We think you’re amazing!
Set aside time to do something that makes you happy. Do you love reading? Taking a bubble bath? Baking? Carve out YOU TIME and guard it!
Being outdoors and soaking in some Vitamin D is one of the best things you can do to take care of yourself. Soaking in the beauty of nature can help you relax, focus and rejuvenate.
Don’t downplay your emotions. If you are feeling sad, anxious, or frustrated that’s OK! Instead of pushing your emotions away let yourself feel them- then let them go.
