Thank you for being part of our Albion Family!
Our basic tees are anything but, well, basic! The same fit you know and love in our original tees, but in an even softer bamboo fabric that you'll be reaching for all year round. It doesn't get softer or more versatile than this! Layer up with a denim jacket, toss it on with your favorite Jetsetters or pair it with Lunge Shorts. You literally can't go wrong with this favorite!
Paired with our Destination Joggers, Black.
Model Sophia is wearing size XS.
I’ve been wearing Albion’s basic tees for years and, when I saw they had a new basic tee in bamboo that was supposedly softer, I ordered several in both the crewneck and v-neck. The good: they hold their shape better in the wash and are less sheer than the original. The bad: it’s a much more substantial shirt and, while the rayon to spandex ratio is the same as the original, the added spandex to make it a more medium-weight tee also makes it drape terribly, clinging to the body in all the wrong places. The spandex also makes it feel like an athletic shirt, not one I’d wear for errands or to sleep in. Last, it’s not breathable at all, there’s no give, and I feel I sweat more in it. It is soft, but the pros in this case definitely don’t outweigh the cons.
