Job Purpose:

Our growing Albion Fit team is hiring for a crucial position within the Albion Fit family. The Inventory Allocation Manager will work to cultivate a solid knowledge of replenishment practices, alignment with merchandising strategies and analytical skill sets to ensure that the right product is at the right stores at the right time. Develop and implement store distribution strategies to support sales and inventory objectives and to ensure department financial goals are met. Partner with buying and planning teams in executing item/program/category strategies to support financial plans.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Accountable to build, develop, execute, and maintain allocation strategies to ensure maximum sell through on product while minimizing markdowns.
  • Analyze sales trends to determine the best allocation strategy to distribute inventory to each store on core items, promotional product, new programs, and seasonal merchandise.
  • Identify and rectify stock imbalances in individual stores through the allocation of new and replenishment inventory to maximize the ability of each store to generate sales.
  • Analyze SKU and program productivity to ensure store turn and weeks of supply goals are met; identify over and under performers and provide suggestions to improve.
  • Ensure inventory is balanced across stores, considering sales volume, store type, and capacity of each store (weekly) with cross functional team.
  • Execute all movement of merchandise including DC to store replenishment, inventory transfers, and new-store inventory distribution multiple times per week.
  • Partner closely with logistics & warehouse teams to ensure timely delivery of product to stores

Additional Principal Duties andResponsibilities

  • Ad hoc analysis to Planners and Buyers identifying opportunities and risks(e.g. lost sales); markdown recommendations; and future buy recommendations (e.g. buy quantities, assortment)
  • Providing weekly reports on key sales metrics and inventory supply needed to meet future projections.
  • Communicate / make recommendations regarding store needs, distribution concerns, and sizing.
  • Accountable for inventory accuracy between ERP systems and inventory locations; accountable for inventory shrink across warehouse network
  • Make inventory adjustments/transfers between virtual locations in ERP as required
  • Ensure that all product is shipped in compliance with product launch dates and new store opening dates
  • Ensures accurate receipt, storage, and shipment/transfer of product to and from store
  • Adjusting daily inventory levels in ERP  based on cycle counts and employee feedback.
  • Updating management team on emerging inventory issues and possible solutions.

Required Qualifications:

  • Computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Word and email applications; intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong retail math and analytical skills.
  • Ability to research and analyze large amounts of data.
  • Quantitatively approaches problems and suggests possible solutions
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
  • Knowledge of inventory management software (e.g. ERP)
  • Works efficiently, is organized and detail oriented.
  • Min 2 years in ecommerce and retail allocation in the fashion industry.

Occasional lifting up to 25 lbs required.

Location:

In office Monday-Friday, Holladay, UT HQ

Some travel may be required on occasion to visit Albion Fit retail stores.
