I am 5'4, 125lbs (pant size 2/26, bust 34A), with a very short torso. Finding a flattering suit for my high-hips, and lack of mid-section, is a challenge for sure. The chat-assistant recommend I check out the Petite suits as they are better suited for short-torsos. I will say the Island Fever and BonVoyage one-pieces were recommended, but looked horrible on. Bc they have a high rise in the bum, with a high midsection back cutout and with a thick bow-tie across your mid-spine - if you are short torso, this design may not work well. At least on me, the top edge of the bottoms, nearly touched the bottom-edge of the racer-back, leaving hardly any back-skin showing and a funny thick-bow crossing over it all- it accentuated my short-torso in a very bad and comical way (think Steve Urkel). But the actual suit itself does have a 'petite' and short height - so I do think it would work on a longer-torso beautifully. I ended up with the Natalie and a Charleston, same styles - just different patterns. The suit is simple, but classic and is modest in bum and chest coverage, and the shoulder ties are adjustable, so this suit works for short or long torsos. I tried both XS and S, though the measurements recommend XS, I kept the S as it felt less constricting and more comfortable. Due to my short-torso the fabric does bunch a bit in the body of the suit, but not in an unflattering way - it's actually not that noticeable with the busy patterns. The chest area is flattening - and has very thin cup inserts - not much support. I don't know how supportive this suit would be on a larger bust - but for me, it'll be fine. The fabric is very soft and silky, I look forward to wearing these this season, they are so cute and fun!
This suit is very flattering, and I love the adjustable shoulder ties. I loved the fabric and the fit of the suit. The only thing that could maybe make me love the suit more is if I could have chosen the print placement, since mine didn't look like the photo on the website. Obviously, since I don't live near a retail location, I knew this would be a small compromise. Overall, I love this suit, and I would order again!
First and foremost I must mention the quality of the fabric, so nice thick stretchy and lovely!
The pattern on this swimsuit was done correctly without the big ball of flour right in the front but half on the side and the branches on the other half just love it. I'm not as big a fan of the tie on the shoulder as that gets pulled out without much effort when one is swimming or it flaps around I am figuring out a way to tie it around the neck to keep the suit in place. Since this is not a big problem,... the color, the shape, the fit of the suit, far outweighs the straps. I love it! I am 5'3" 113lbs size xs
I’m 5’6” 185lbs size 12/14. I originally bought this swimsuit XL, it fit good except it was extra short. The chest pads were on my ribs. If you are 5’4” and under this is probably a good fit. I exchanged for XXL which i thought would be too loose but it turned out to be a great fit. Not too much difference in width but length definitely 2 inch difference. I have wide hips and ample rear end and this covered great. No high cut on hips like every swimsuit out there. I have bought 2 now and have never had this good of fit. Worth the expensive price tag. Return shipping and exchange was super quick and easy
Love the cut. It’s feminine, fits beautifully, Provides full coverage, enhances your curves. Absolutely my most favorite swim wear ever! Love it. Highly recommend it.
This is my second Albion suit and I get so many compliments. These suits are more like a piece of art than just a bathing suit. So unique and so much detail. Perfect fit and super comfortable too! Two thumbs up!
