HOW TO: Summer Braid Tutorials

Looking for the perfect summer hairstyle? Look no further. Braids are a fun way to spice up your normal hair routine and are so cute for summer! We have decided to make a tutorial with 4 Summer Braids! The Beach Braid, Boho Braid, Date Night Braid, and the Sporty Braid.

Start off by adding texture spray to the hair or adding loose waves.

Start braiding an inside out French braid on one side of the hair. 

Take bigger sections of Hair and braid back and down towards the nape of the neck.

You can also Pull apart the braid to make it more messy. 

Use an elastic to tie off the braid and back section of the hair into a bun. 

Twist and pin back the pieces from the sections on the side into the bun.

Keep everything loose and messy. 

Optional: Pull out pieces of hair around the face.

Start off by curling the hair and teasing the roots to give it some volume. 

Section the Hair horizontally right above the ears so you have two sections. 

Clip off the top section.

Do a fishtail braid with the bottom section.

Pull apart the fishtail braid to desired look. 

Do a normal three strand braid with the bottom section. 

Pull it apart to your desired look. 

Wrap the fishtail braid around the normal braid and tie them off together at the end. 

Wrap a small piece of hair around the elastic to hide it. Use a bobby pin to thread the hair through the elastic to secure it. 

Bobby pin the two braids so they stay together. 

Optional: you can pull out pieces around your face.

Start off by curling the hair with loose waves.

Take a small section on one side of your part and start an inside out French Braid. 

Keep the braid smaller and braid it back to towards the back of the head. 

Pull braid apart to desired look. 

Secure off the braid and do the same on the other side. 

Take the ends of the two braids and a section of hair from the back into one ponytail and tie it off. 

Split the ponytail into three sections. 

Take the middle section and clip it up.

Use an elastic to tie off the two outside sections.


Let the middle section down and split it into two sections. 

The ponytail from your previous sections will be the middle third section. 

Clip the middle section up again and tie off the two outside sections. 

Repeat until you get your desired look. 

Pull apart the sections until it is full enough for your liking.

Can be done with straight, wavy, or curled hair. 

Part hair down the middle. Clip off one side to keep it out of the way while you braid the other.

Start an inside out French Braid on the other side close to the part.

Continue braiding all the way to the nape of the neck. 

Start loosening braid and pulling it apart to look more full.

Tie off hair with an elastic.

Wrap a small section of hair around the elastic to hide it. Use a bobby pin to thread the hair through the elastic. 

Repeat on the other side. 

Optional: Pull out pieces around your face to add a sporty and messy feel.
